Recipe story
Lazy Cake, also called Suksieh, is a delicious homemade recipe. Its name “lazy” means exactly two things: it’s easy to prepare and it doesn’t need an oven — which is exactly what we want :)
Ingredients
- 3 packages plain sweet biscuits, 200 g each
- 1 white chocolate bar
- 1 dark chocolate bar
- 1 carton whipping cream, 250 g
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
- In a bowl, break the biscuits into large pieces.
- In a pot over the heat, warm the whipping cream slightly. We do not want it to boil.
- Add the chocolate pieces after breaking the bars into small chunks. Put them into the cream pot and stir until the chocolate melts.
- Add the butter and stir until it melts too, then remove immediately from the heat.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits and mix well until the biscuit pieces are evenly coated.
- Lay out a large piece of food-safe plastic wrap and pour the mixture onto it, then roll it up into a log.
- Wrap the log with a second piece of plastic wrap or aluminum foil, for example, to help keep its shape.
- Leave the log in the refrigerator overnight before slicing and serving.
