How to make the syrup

Dissolve 2 cups of sugar in 1 cup of water, then add 1 tablespoon butter and the juice of half a lemon. Place the mixture in a saucepan over the heat until it boils. Let it boil for 15 minutes, then remove from the heat and add 1 teaspoon rose water and 1 tablespoon orange blossom water.
