Homemade donuts with a 100% successful recipe
Ingredients
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- Decoration:
- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- 1/4 cup water
- How to prepare the icing:
- Whisk the ingredients together until you get a mixture with the thickness of drinkable yogurt
- You can add a drop of any food coloring to tint the icing

Method
- Mix all the ingredients except the milk
- Add the milk gradually and knead... some types of flour need a little more or less milk
- Knead until the dough comes together; it should be slightly soft
- Let the donut dough rest for half an hour
- After the dough has risen, roll it out like a loaf and cut it into circles about 1 cm thick
- Let them rest again for 10 minutesTimers: 10 min
- Heat plenty of oil and fry them over low heat until the dough is cooked through
- Decorate the donuts as desired and serve them as soon as they cool to room temperature
