Recipe story

How to make homemade cooking cream with an easy, tried-and-tested recipe. It will definitely cost less than buying ready-made fresh cream!

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons powdered milk dissolved in 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup water, or more as needed for the mixture
  • 1 cup powdered milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 container ready-made clotted cream
  • Pinch of salt

  • Also from Nicole, we recommend making Forenoir Cake

Method

  1. Put the 3 tablespoons of powdered milk dissolved in 1 cup of water with the flour over low heat until the mixture sets and thickens slightly, taking care not to let it clump.
  2. Transfer the mixture to an electric blender, then add 1 cup powdered milk and 1 cup water.
  3. Blend the ingredients, then add the melted, cooled butter.
  4. Finally, add the container of clotted cream or ready-made cream with a pinch of salt and blend everything well....
  5. Note: You can add water in the electric blender as needed to get the cooking cream consistency you want, whether it is thicker or thinner..
