Easy petit fours — a delicious homemade recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter at room temperature (about 90 g)
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons powdered milk
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Method
- Mix the butter with the sugar, vanilla, and the egg, or beat until well combined.
- Add the powdered milk and only 2 cups of flour and knead well.
- Divide the dough into two parts; add an extra 1/4 cup of flour to the first portion and knead, and add cocoa to the second portion to get chocolate petit fours.
- Shape the petit fours as desired, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment, and bake until cooked without browning too much.
- Serve the petit fours when cooled to room temperature.
