Manakish are one of the tastiest homemade bakes... They have a special appeal even though they’re easy to find at bakeries. Let’s learn how to make a soft dough the proper way.

Ingredients:

1 kilogram flour 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons yeast 2 tablespoons vinegar A pinch of salt 1/2 cup oil 3 tablespoons powdered milk 2 tablespoons yogurt 2 cups lukewarm water, or as needed for the flour

Preparation Method:

Mix all the dry ingredients together.
Add the vinegar and oil, then rub them into the dry ingredients until absorbed. Gradually add the lukewarm water and knead until you get a soft dough.
Cover the dough with food-grade plastic wrap, then cover it with a cloth and let it rise for at least 1 hour.
When the dough has risen, shape it into balls of the desired size, then let the balls rest for 15 minutes.
Roll out the dough balls with a rolling pin or by hand, then let them rest again for 5 minutes.
Finally, top as desired and bake the manakish in a hot oven until done.
Serve the manakish hot.
