Biscuit cake... very easy and reasonably priced... give it a try

Ingredients

  • 500 ml liquid milk
  • 500 ml whipping cream for desserts
  • 1 tablespoon starch (or) custard powder
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet crème caramel
  • 15 plain biscuits
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla

Method

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together.
  2. Put the liquid ingredients in a pot... then add the biscuits on top and press them down while stirring, then add the dry ingredients and stir until all the ingredients are combined cold.
  3. Then place it over the heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  4. Pour the mixture into a silicone mold or a Pyrex dish, and leave it in the fridge for at least four hours, or until it sets and cools well.
  5. After the time has passed, invert the biscuit cake onto a serving plate and decorate it with caramel.
