Easy Apple Cake
This apple cake is very easy, quick, and tested. Try it when you have plenty of apples and the kids aren’t eating them.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 eggs + 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
- Vanilla
- 1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 100 g chopped walnuts (a handful) or raisins
- 3 apples
- Butter and jam
Method

- Beat the ingredients gradually. Start with the eggs, vanilla, and sugar, then add the oil. Add the rest of the ingredients except the apples and continue beating until smooth. Pour the batter into a greased pan. Cut each apple in half and draw long vertical lines with a knife, then arrange them on top of the batter…
- Brush the apples with butter and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until done, about 40 minutes, or insert a wooden skewer to test doneness.Timers: 40 min
- Remove from oven and brush the apples with jam, then dust with powdered sugar.
