Diet oatmeal cookies... this is the snack you can enjoy between meals while keeping your weight in check
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup vegetable margarine
- 1 teaspoon salt
- A pinch of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk, or more as needed for the flour
- 1/2 cup sugar, or to taste
Method
- Sift the flour with the other dry ingredients, then add the margarine and rub it into the dry mix (don’t knead)
- Add the sugar, then the milk, and gather the dough together without kneading until you have a soft dough
- Place the dough for the diet oatmeal cookies in a plastic bag and refrigerate for half an hour
- After resting, roll it out on parchment paper and cut into desired shapes
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment and bake — they won’t need more than 10 minutesTimers: 10 min
