Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups flour

2/3 cup sugar

pinch of salt

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons vanilla

1 cup milk

1/4 cup yogurt

2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen

2 eggs

1/2 cup butter

Method:

In a large bowl, whisk flour with salt, baking powder and baking soda, and set aside.

In another bowl, toss the blueberries with about a quarter cup of the dry mix and set aside.

Cream the sugar and butter for several minutes, then add the eggs and vanilla and beat well. Add milk and continue beating until smooth and slightly sticky.

Pour the sugar-butter mixture over the flour mixture and mix until just combined.

Gently fold in the blueberries.

Pour the batter into a baking pan lightly greased with a touch of oil or butter.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes, or until the cake is done and rises, depending on your oven.

Do not open the oven during baking. When done, let cool completely before slicing and serving with fresh fruit, coffee, and cream as desired.
