Creamy Chicken Pasta
Creamy chicken pasta is a pasta dish the whole family will love and children will adore! A very easy and delicious recipe!
Ingredients

- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 bundle (packet) long pasta (e.g., spaghetti)
- Black pepper
- Pasta seasoning
- Salt
- 12/1 cups cooking cream (or heavy cream)
- 2 cups mushrooms (fresh or canned)
- 1 medium onion
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- Oregano or wild thyme (za'atar)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- In a skillet heat a little vegetable oil and add the washed chicken cut lengthwise
- Leave the chicken on the heat without adding any spices until cooked, then remove from the heat and set aside
- In a deep pot, sauté the chopped onion and crushed garlic until they brown, then add the sliced mushrooms
- Cook the mushrooms with the onion and garlic for several minutes, stir the mixture, then add the chicken
- Add seasonings: black pepper, chicken seasoning, oregano, and salt
- Finally add the cooking cream and leave the mixture on low heat for a few minutes
- Meanwhile, in a second pot, boil the pasta or noodles in boiling water with a pinch of salt and a drop of olive oil
- Before the pasta finishes cooking completely, remove it from the heat and place it in a colander
- In the pasta pot, add 1 tablespoon butter and return the drained pasta to the pot
- Pour the mushroom and cooking cream mixture over the pasta, then finally add a little mozzarella cheese
- Transfer the creamy chicken pasta to a serving dish and garnish with parsley and chopped green onion
