Corn Flakes and Chocolate Chip Cookies — add them to your cookie collection; kids will love them for sure

Ingredients:

1 cup crushed corn flakes 1 cup flour 1 cup brown sugar — can be substituted with white sugar 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup melted butter 1 small cup chocolate chips 1 egg

Method:

In a bowl, beat the egg, sugar, and vanilla well, then add the melted butter and beat again. Continue by adding the crushed corn flakes, baking powder, and baking soda while mixing.
Add the flour and mix well by hand, then fold in the chocolate chips gently — do not overmix so the chips don’t break or melt.
Chill the corn flakes cookie dough in the refrigerator for half an hour.
After resting, shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Press them slightly and add a few extra chocolate chips on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for about 20 minutes or until the cookies turn golden.
Allow the tops to brown.
Let the corn flakes and chocolate chip cookies cool at room temperature before serving.
