Colored Gelatin Mold

- 4 or 5 colors and flavors of gelatin
- 3 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
Method
- We begin by preparing the gelatin colors/flavors separately. Each color/flavor on its own. We reduce the water for each, e.g., if a color needs 2 cups of water, use 1.5 cups.
- We let the gelatin cool.
- Separately, prepare the milk, sweeten with sugar, and dissolve the gelatin in it. Let it cool in turn.
- Prepare the mold. Start by pouring the first color and freeze it until solid, then add a layer of the milk+gelatin and freeze again, then unmold when fully set and add the second color, and so on until you use up the quantity. Always separate flavors/colors with a thin layer of milk+gelatin (the white layer) to obtain a neat result.
- Place the mold in the fridge or freezer, and when it firms fully, run the mold under hot water or flame briefly to release and unmold easily.
- Unmold the colorful gelatin mold onto a serving dish and return to the fridge for 15 minutes to set again.Timers: 15 min
