Ingredients
- First layer:
- plain biscuits or tea biscuits
- half cup liquid milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon Nescafe
- Second layer:
- 4 cups liquid milk
- half cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 tablespoon Nescafe
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Third layer:
- quarter cup hot water
- quarter cup sugar
- quarter cup Nescafe
- cocoa powder for the top
Method
- First, start with the first layer. In a bowl, add the milk, sugar, and Nescafe and stir until dissolved, then dip the biscuits into the mixture and arrange them in a tray.
- Arrange two layers of biscuits on top of each other.
- Start with the second layer. Put all the ingredients in a saucepan over the heat except the butter, stirring constantly until the mixture heats up and becomes like custard, then add the butter and stir until it melts completely.
- Pour the second layer mixture over the two biscuit layers in the tray.
- Let it cool slightly at room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator.
- To prepare the third layer, put all its ingredients together in an electric mixer and whisk until you get a creamy mixture.
- Spread it over the second layer after it has cooled well.
- Sprinkle cocoa over the top and leave the tray in the refrigerator long enough for the coffee dessert to chill and set well before serving.
