Cinnamon rolls... one of the super distinctive pastries that every woman who loves dough would want to learn! The cinnamon aroma in the kitchen is simply irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 3 and a half cups flour
  • 1 cup liquid milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 beaten egg
  • Filling:
  • 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Sauce:
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk

Method

  1. Place the dry ingredients in the stand mixer and mix, then add the milk, butter, oil, and egg. Knead for 10 minutes until you get a soft, smooth, and tender dough.

  2. Cover the dough and let it rise for about 30 minutes.

  3. Divide the dough into two equal parts.
  4. Roll out the dough on a clean surface and shape each part into a thin rectangular loaf.
  5. Brush the loaf completely with the butter (listed in the filling), except for the last edge of the loaf.
  6. Mix the brown sugar, cocoa, and cinnamon well, then sprinkle them over the butter.
  7. Roll the loaf loosely into a roll, then cut it into small round pieces of medium thickness using a sharp knife or a piece of thread.
  8. Arrange the pieces side by side in a baking tray and leave them in a warm place until the rolls double in size... about 1 hour.

  9. Bake the trays on the lower rack of the oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.

  10. Brown them from the top, then remove them from the oven.
  11. Prepare the sauce... mix the cream cheese with the condensed milk well and heat them in the microwave for just a few seconds until you get a creamy, pourable mixture, then decorate the cinnamon rolls with it.
  12. Serve the cinnamon rolls immediately.
