Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons honey or simple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons butter

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and whisk together over heat. Stir continuously until smooth and heated through.
  2. Allow to cool, transfer to a glass jar and refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. If the syrup thickens in the fridge, warm it for a few seconds in the microwave before serving.
