Recipe story

Chocolate ganache tart ... a special recipe for hospitality or to enjoy the tastiest and easiest tart with the family

Ingredients

  • Tart dough:
  • 1 and 3/4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small cubes
  • 1 egg
  • Ganache or pourable chocolate sauce:
  • Liquid cream for desserts
  • Chocolate pieces, as desired
  • Ground almonds for decoration
  • Ganache method:

Method

  1. Beat the sugar, flour, salt, and butter together well with an electric mixer until you get a smooth mixture. You can also use a mixer or a hand whisk.
  2. Add the egg and bring the dough together.
  3. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for half an hour before using.
  4. Roll out the dough on a surface lightly dusted with flour, then line the appropriate tart pan with it, or cut and line small tart pans.
  5. Use a fork to prick the dough all over so it does not puff up during baking.
  6. Place baking paper over the dough and add a weight, such as lentils or beans, so the dough does not rise during baking in the oven.
  7. Place the tart dough on the middle rack of the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 180°C.
    Timers: 20 min
  8. Remove it from the oven, lift off the beans and baking paper, then brown the top.
  9. Let the tart shell cool, then spread the cold chocolate ganache inside and decorate with almonds.
  10. Place the liquid cream in a saucepan over the heat until hot, but do not let it boil.
  11. Once hot, add the chocolate pieces and stir until melted.
  12. When the ganache cools and reaches room temperature, pour it into the tart and decorate with ground almonds.
