Recipe story
Chocolate chip cookies we tried to ensure great results and found this to be one of the best cookie recipes ever. It’s sure to be loved by everyone, especially kids!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar mix: white + brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 egg
- vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup small chocolate chips (more if you like)
Method
- Beat the egg with the vanilla and sugar well
- Add the butter and continue beating until you have a light, creamy mixture
- Sift the flour, salt, and baking soda first, then add them to the egg mixture
- Finally add the chocolate pieces and mix the batter with a wooden spoon
- Prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper, then use the wooden spoon to drop portions of the dough onto the tray in irregular shapes... meaning don't try to make perfect rounds—they will become round during baking
- Also leave enough space between each portion so they don't stick together while baking
- Place the cookie tray in a preheated oven at 180°C
- Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes, no more
- Remove them from the oven and leave them on the tray without moving them for ten minutes before transferring to a serving plate
