1 1/2 cups coconut milk3 cloves garlic1 tablespoon salt1 tablespoon curry powder1 tablespoon vegetable oil1 onion, finely chopped1/2 teaspoon turmeric or a pinch of yellow coloring1 teaspoon black pepper1 hot pepper, to taste

How to prepare the coconut sauce

In a somewhat deep pot, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the finely chopped onion and crushed garlic until they soften.
