Charcoal-grilled chicken.. one of the tastiest recipes we love to make outdoors on the weekend ... you can also use a grill if available

Ingredients:

One whole chicken, butterflied and not cut into pieces Marinade: Red or white vinegar, depending on what is available, with red being better for chicken Two tablespoons yogurt Lemon juice Salt Chicken seasoning Paprika Cinnamon Rosemary Two basil leaves Crushed garlic

Preparation Method:

Mix all the marinade ingredients and soak the chicken in them in the fridge for as long as possible (or at least two hours).. it can be left overnight or for a full day
Place the chicken in a grilling basket and close it tightly
Put the grilling basket over the charcoal and turn it to cook on both sides
When the chicken starts to cook through and take on some color, brush it with a marinade similar to the one it was soaked in ... this ensures it does not dry out and intensifies the flavor of the marinade ... be careful not to brush it with the marinade before the chicken is cooked, because the moisture will extinguish the charcoal flame and delay the chicken from cooking
