Ingredients
- Two cups flour, equivalent to 400 grams
- One cup butter, equivalent to 200 grams
- Half a cup powdered sugar
- Half a teaspoon ground cardamom
- Half a teaspoon vanilla
Method
- Beat the butter and sugar very well until the sugar dissolves completely
- Add the cardamom and vanilla, then the flour in stages until you get a soft, smooth dough
- If the weather is cold, start working with the dough right away. If it is warm, refrigerate it for a while
- Roll out the dough and cut or shape it as desired, then place the cookies on a baking tray
- Put them in a preheated oven at 180 C and bake on the middle rack for a few minutes until they take on a very light color from the bottom
- Turn on the top heat so they also take on a light color
- Dip the cookies in powdered sugar before they cool completely
- Serve the butter and sugar cookies once they have cooled and reached room temperature
