Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 bananas (or as needed)
  • Honey or chocolate for serving

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients together well and whisk until smooth.
  2. Slice the bananas into rounds.
  3. In a non-stick pan over the heat, brush a little oil. Dip each banana slice in the batter and place it in the pan, flipping to cook both sides. Or spoon a little batter into the pan, place a banana slice on top, and cover it with a little more batter.
  4. When the pancake is cooked on the first side, flip it to cook the second side.
  5. Serve the banana pancakes hot with honey or melted chocolate, or as desired.
  6. Note: You can substitute chocolate for the banana if you like.
