Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 3 large apples, or as desired
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 250 grams, equal to 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Vanilla or lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon mixed with 2 tablespoons sugar

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla well until they thicken... then add the oil, then the flour gradually, then the milk and baking powder and beat
  2. Pour the batter into a pan greased with oil or butter and dusted with flour
  3. Cut the peeled apples into thin slices, arrange them on top of the pan and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon on the surface
  4. Preheat the oven to 250°C.. when you put the pan in the oven reduce the temperature to 180°C
  5. Leave the pan for about 40 minutes, monitoring, or according to your oven's strength

  6. Serve the apple and cinnamon cake cold or lukewarm
