Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- a pinch of vanilla
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons anise (seeds)
- 1 tablespoon nigella (black) seeds
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Method
- Mix the ingredients together, add the liquids and knead into a dough.
- Shape the dough as desired, or form into rounds.
- Place the pieces on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Top each piece with extra anise, nigella seeds and sesame as desired.
- Bake in a preheated oven at medium heat on the middle rack — about 10 minutes.Timers: 10 min
- Brush or brown the tops slightly if desired.
- Let cool to room temperature before serving.
