Ingredients

  • 1 cup semolina
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Orange blossom water, as desired
  • Cheese

Method

  1. First, prepare the syrup by boiling the sugar with the water and a splash of orange blossom water...
  2. Then toast the semolina in the butter.
  3. Pour the toasted semolina over the syrup
  4. Leave the semolina and syrup over the heat until it thickens, then turn off the heat
  5. Let the mixture rest for about 15 minutes so the semolina absorbs all the syrup

  6. Spread it in a serving dish and garnish with the cheese.
