Method

  1. Beat the eggs with the vanilla and sugar until you have a creamy mixture
  2. Add the vegetable oil and beat well
  3. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the 7 Up until all the quantity is used up.
  4. Bake the 7 Up cake in a preheated oven on the middle rack at 180 degrees for one full hour.
  5. The oven should never be opened while the cake is baking
  6. When the cake is baked and risen, remove it from the oven and set it aside until it cools completely before taking it out of the baking pan and transferring it to a serving plate
