Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup fresh orange-lemon juice
- 4 eggs, at room temperature
- 1 small teaspoon vanilla
- 1 small teaspoon baking powder
- 1 small teaspoon baking soda
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 apples, peeled and cut into medium-thick slices or wedges
- 3 tablespoons caramelized sugar
Method

- Beat the eggs with the vanilla, sugar, and lemon zest until you get a white, creamy mixture
- Add the juice, oil, and oats, and stir with a wooden spoon
- Add the flour, baking powder, and baking soda after sifting them together, then mix
- Finally, add the raisins and mix
- Put 3 tablespoons of sugar in a pan over low heat until it caramelizes, then pour the caramel into a cake pan greased with oil or tahini
- Arrange the apple slices over the caramel, then pour in the cake batter
- Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C on the middle rack for 45 to 50 minutes, or according to your oven's strengthTimers: 50 min
- Let the cake cool to room temperature, then invert it onto a serving plate
