Biscuit cake... very easy and reasonably priced... give it a try
Ingredients
- 500 ml liquid milk
- 500 ml whipping cream for desserts
- 1 tablespoon starch (or) custard powder
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet crème caramel
- 15 plain biscuits
- 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla

Method
- Mix the dry ingredients together.
- Put the liquid ingredients in a pot... then add the biscuits on top and press them down while stirring, then add the dry ingredients and stir until all the ingredients are combined cold.
- Then place it over the heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Pour the mixture into a silicone mold or a Pyrex dish, and leave it in the fridge for at least four hours, or until it sets and cools well.
- After the time has passed, invert the biscuit cake onto a serving plate and decorate it with caramel.
