Cake Balls

An easy dessert for making chocolate cake balls that are perfect for birthdays or any party that will bring together many kids.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • Cake, plain (or if you have some left over cake and want to change its shape)
  • Sweetened condensed milk (sweetened)
  • Liquid chocolate (melted) as desired and available

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Crumble the cake well and then add the can of sweetened condensed milk...
  2. Mix well and add the melted chocolate you melted earlier; the quantity depends on the amount of cake and how strong you want the chocolate flavor and color in the balls.
  3. We should obtain a homogeneous yet sticky dough that is moldable into balls or patties.
  4. Roll the balls over any available toppings. You can use crushed cookies, or
  5. shredded coconut, or even sprinkle colored chocolate, or crushed pistachio or almonds, or a dusting of chocolate... (as desired and as available)
