Light milk loaf cake — simply delicious

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp liquid vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Whisk the eggs and vanilla, then add the sugar and whisk until the mixture is pale and the sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the oil and milk and whisk.
  3. Finally add the flour and baking powder after sifting them together. Add them gradually in batches and gently fold the cake batter from top to bottom.
  4. Pour the batter into a small loaf cake tin greased with butter and dusted with flour.
  5. Place the cake on the middle rack in the preheated oven at 150°C.
  6. Allow the milk loaf cake to cool completely before serving.
