Easy Eish El Saraya
Eish El Saraya made at home the easy way with toast, caramel, cream and a sprinkle of pistachios on top — exactly what you need after a long day at work!

Ingredients

- 3 cups water
- 1 cup powdered milk
- 3 tablespoons starch (cornstarch)
- toasted bread slices
- ground pistachios for garnish
- Caramel
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups water

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Dissolve the starch in cold water together with the milk mixture and set aside.
- Place the sugar on the stove and cook, stirring, until it caramelizes.
- Add 1 1/2 cups water to the caramelized sugar and stir to dissolve the caramel.
- Dip the toast in the caramel mixture and arrange the toast in the base of a baking pan or serving plate.
- Place the milk mixture on the stove and stir until it boils.
- Pour the milk mixture over the toast and let the Aish el Saraya cool to room temperature.
- Garnish with ground pistachios and serve.
