Molten Lava Cake
A wonderful molten lava cake recipe you can make at home. This batch yields 4 small cakes as shown; you can double the amount for more servings.
Ingredients

- 100g butter (half a cup)
- 100g dark chocolate (half a cup)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 eggs
- A pinch of vanilla
- 2 tablespoons sifted flour
Method

- Melt the chocolate, butter, and sugar together in a pot over simmering water until the mixture is completely melted. Let the mixture rest about 5 minutes, then whisk the eggs separately and gradually add them to the chocolate while stirring continually, combining all ingredients as you go.Timers: 5 min
- Pour the batter into a greased pan or molds, place a piece of chocolate in each mold, and bake in a preheated oven for 12–15 minutes from the bottom only.Timers: 15 min
