How to Make Date Biscuits

Ingredients

- 1 kg flour
- 1 block (250 grams) butter
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup liquid milk
- 1 sachet vanilla or 1 teaspoon
- 1 sachet baking powder or 2 tablespoons
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 6 tablespoons sugar

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Melt the butter, then add all other ingredients to it.
- Knead well to obtain a soft and smooth dough.
- Roll the dough into small balls.
- Flatten the balls with the palm of your hand and fill them with ground dates.
- Seal them and shape them as desired, or use special small molds.
- Brush the surface of the dough with egg and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the oven until cooked through and lightly browned.
- Serve the date biscuits when they cool.
