How to Make Donuts
Donuts are rich, fried sweets that kids love! Make them at home to make sure the oil is clean, and because they’re definitely more economical. Super easy!

Ingredients

- 2 cups plain flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup milk

- 4 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk powder
- 1/4 cup water

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix all the ingredients except the milk
- Add the milk gradually and knead... some types of flour need a little more or less milk
- Knead until the dough comes together; it should be slightly soft
- Let the donut dough rest for half an hour
- After the dough has risen, roll it out like a loaf and cut it into circles about 1 cm thick

- Heat plenty of oil and fry them over low heat until the dough is cooked through
- Decorate the donuts as desired and serve them as soon as they cool to room temperature
