  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk (liquid)
  • 1 egg
  • a dash of vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Whisk or mix all the ingredients well together.
  2. Let the pancake batter rest briefly before you start cooking.
  3. Spoon a large soup-ladle (or a generous tablespoon) of batter and spread it into a circle in a non-stick pan lightly brushed with a little oil.
  4. Cook for one minute, then flip and cook the other side for another minute.
  5. Repeat until all the batter is used.
  6. Fill the pancakes with jam, chocolate, honey, clotted cream, or any filling you like.
