Ingredients:
2 cups whole milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 container clotted cream - qaimar
2 tablespoons white flour
1 tablespoon cornstarch

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 can of clotted cream (qimeer)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- A pinch of salt, or to taste
Method
- Using an electric blender, start by whisking the liquid milk with the cornstarch and flour
- Whisk the mixture for several minutes, then add the salt until you get a smooth, homogeneous liquid.
- Transfer the cooking cream mixture from the blender to a small nonstick saucepan, place it over low heat, and stir well.
- Let the cooking cream mixture cook over low heat until it boils, then turn off the heat and set it aside.
- After removing the cooking cream mixture from the heat, add the ready-made cream container, then also add the butter and mix very well using a fork or a hand whisk.
- Then once again return the cooking cream to the electric blender.
- Whisk the mixture again for several minutes until you get the desired cooking cream consistency.
- Transfer the cream to a jar or container with a lid, because we will need to keep the cooking cream in the refrigerator, not the freezer, until use.
- Homemade cooking cream without preservatives stays good in the refrigerator for 3 days to about a week at most.
