- 5 cups milk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange blossom water
- Pistachios for garnish
- Fresh cream for garnish
- Syrup or honey for serving, to taste
Method

- Combine the flour, sugar, and milk. Place the mixture on the heat, stirring constantly until it boils. When the mixture thickens, add orange blossom water, stir briefly, and remove immediately from the heat.
- Pour Layali Lebanon into a serving dish and let it cool... garnish the dessert with clotted cream (ashta) and pistachios.
- Serve Layali Lebanon chilled... add extra syrup or honey when serving if desired.
