How to Make Lubnia Halva (Milk Halva)
A super easy Saudi Lubnia Halva recipe. You can adjust the sugar to taste for the level of sweetness you prefer. An easy, quick recipe that doesn’t require many ingredients.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon orange blossom water or rose water
- 250 g butter
- 3 cups powdered milk
Method

- In a pot, combine the water with sugar and stir until the sugar dissolves; bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat and add the butter until it melts.Timers: 5 min
- Add the ground cardamom and orange blossom water, stir the mixture, then gradually add the milk while stirring continuously until all ingredients dissolve. Finally, you should have a homogeneous, thickish mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a pan greased with oil, or line with parchment paper. Garnish with a little ground cardamom or pistachios or any nuts you like.
- Chill the Lubnia mixture in the refrigerator for two to three hours to set well; then remove from the fridge and cut into pieces as desired.
