Ingredients
- 1 kilogram calamari
- 2 large red peppers
- 1 green pepper
- 1 yellow pepper
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 large onion, cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup mixture of vegetable oil and sesame oil
Method
- Bring enough water to a boil in a pot and drop the calamari pieces into it and cover the pot.... continue boiling until the calamari become tender to the touch...
- You can add some boiling water if necessary.
- Cut all the peppers and the onion into julienne strips (i.e., wedges). Remove the calamari from the water, place them in a colander to drain, and also cut them into strips...
- Heat the oil in a skillet over the stove and add all the peppers with the onion... stir the vegetables for a few minutes, about 5 minutes, then add the calamari and fry them with the vegetables for another 5 minutes..Timers: 5 min
- Add the soy sauce and toss; you may add a little salt, keeping in mind the saltiness of the soy sauce
- Turn off the heat and serve the fried calamari with the vegetables and soy sauce as a luxurious hot appetizer.
