Tamriya with Biscuits
Tamriya with biscuits is a delicious and very quick recipe. You can make tamriya with various nuts, or even grate coconut and mix with biscuits.
Ingredients

- 3 cups pitted dates
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup fine semolina (farikha flour)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup plain crushed biscuits
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Method

- Soak the dates in 1/4 cup water for a while until they become soft.
- In a pan over heat, toast the semolina briefly until its color changes, then add the cardamom, cinnamon, butter, sugar, and crushed biscuits.
- Then add the dates and stir well for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat once you have a date dough.Timers: 5 min
- Shape the mixture into balls.
- Dip the balls, as desired, in ground pistachios, sesame, grated coconut, or crushed biscuits.
