Ingredients

  • Half a kilo of Othmaliya dough
  • Melted butter
  • Melted ghee
  • Cupcake molds
  • Cream with clotted cream ingredients:
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup powdered milk
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 1 container ready-made cream with clotted cream
  • A pinch of rose water
  • A pinch of orange blossom water
  • Method for making the cream:

Method

  1. Roll out the dough without cutting it, then place it in the cupcake molds.
  2. Mix the butter and ghee together, then brush a little of the mixture over the dough with a brush. After that, you can make two shapes: for the first shape, press it down with a cup the same size as the cupcake base so it holds together well.
  3. For the second shape, press it with a cup smaller than the cupcake base so it becomes hollow.
  4. Place the tray in the middle of the oven at 180 degrees until it browns from the bottom, then brown it from the top.
  5. Let it cool well, then add the cream.
  6. For the hollow shape, add the cream in the center and decorate with pistachios, then drizzle with syrup.
  7. For the other shape, add the cream on one piece, place the second piece on top, decorate as desired, and drizzle with syrup.
  8. Put the water, milk, and flour over the heat, stirring constantly.
  9. When the mixture thickens, add the clotted cream, rose water, and orange blossom water.
