Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Mixed nuts: walnuts, almonds, and cashews
- Sesame
- A pinch of ground anise
- A pinch of ground cinnamon
- A pinch of ground nutmeg
- Honey
- Melted chocolate
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Start by roasting the assorted nuts—walnuts, almonds, cashews, and sesame—in a preheated oven...
- When the nuts have cooled, add a pinch of ground anise, a pinch of cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg, and honey (amount of honey according to taste and desired sweetness)
- Mix these ingredients well then place them in a Pyrex dish or similar container.
- Then pour a layer of melted chocolate over the nuts. When this layer hardens, flip it and place a second layer of chocolate on the other side. This way you get two layers of chocolate with the nut mixture in the middle.
- Wait until the chocolate hardens well and the mixture holds together, then cut as desired.
