Soufflé cake — this easy cup cake is delicious and requires no oven.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup corn oil
  • 1/2 cup liquid milk
  • 8 tablespoons sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Dark chocolate pieces
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Method

  1. Beat the egg, sugar and vanilla well, then add the remaining ingredients and beat briefly until everything is well combined.
  2. Pour the soufflé mixture into heatproof molds or cups, filling them halfway or slightly more, and place a piece of dark chocolate in the center of each.
  3. Place the cups in a pot with boiling water, cover the pot and simmer over low heat for 10–15 minutes.
    Timers: 15 min
  4. After the time is up, remove the cups from the pot and set aside to cool.
  5. At serving time, dust the soufflé cakes with powdered sugar. Serve cold or slightly warm.
