Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Melt the butter and mix it with the warm milk. Add the instant yeast and sugar, stir well, and leave for 10 minutes until the yeast activates.
    Timers: 10 min
  2. Beat the eggs and vanilla with a fork and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, add the flour and salt, then the yeast mixture, then the eggs, and knead well for 10 minutes.
    Timers: 10 min
  4. The dough should be somewhat sticky. If it seems too stiff, you can add a little more liquid milk.
  5. Let the dough rise for 1 hour or 1 1/2 hours.
    Timers: 60 min, 120 min
  6. Roll out the dough, or spread it to a thickness of 1 cm, then cut it into circles. Then cut a smaller circle in the center of each one and let them rise a second time.
  7. Brush the doughnut circles with liquid milk and a pinch of Nescafé, or with egg yolk and a drop of white vinegar.
  8. Place the doughnuts in a preheated oven at 200 degrees on the middle rack for about 7 minutes, depending on your oven, then brown them from the top.
    Timers: 7 min
  9. Mix them together with a small spoonful of butter and place over the heat until the mixture melts and becomes smooth, then dip the doughnuts in the mixture.
