Donuts
Donuts are one of those Western sweets that quickly won their way into our hearts. They’re loved by both kids and adults, but be careful not to have too many if you’re watching your figure.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 5 cups flour
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons yeast
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 260 ml milk
- 6 tablespoons butter
- Oil for frying
- Chocolate sauce
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Knead all the ingredients except the butter with the milk only until the dough comes together, then add the butter
- at room temperature and knead the mixture until the dough becomes soft and smooth...
- Cover the dough and let it rest at room temperature for 50 minutes...Timers: 50 min
- Then roll out the dough and cut it into equal-sized circles, then cut small circles inside each large circle to make the hole, and let them rest for 15 minutes. Then fry them and decorate as desired or with chocolate sauce...Timers: 15 min
- Melt chocolate over steam, dip the donuts in it, and sprinkle with chocolate shavings or powdered sugar, or coconut over the donuts.
