- 3 cups pitted dates
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds (or ground pistachios)
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 teaspoon ginger powder
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Leave the dates for a while in 1/4 cup water until softened
- In a pot over heat, add the flour and stir for a few moments until it changes color, then add the cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, butter, and almonds, then the dates, and stir well for five minutes. Turn off the heat once you have obtained a date dough...
- Prepare ice cube trays and place a little raw sesame seeds in each compartment (or ground pistachios or coconut). Take a portion of the dough, roll it into a ball, and place it in the trays, then refrigerate for two hours.
- After that, unmold and serve shaped like chocolate pieces..
