Layali Lubnan Dessert
Layali Lubnan dessert made with a delicious homemade recipe. This dessert is one of the easiest you can make, and it is refreshing because it is served cold and is quite affordable.
Ingredients

- Three-quarters cup semolina
- 5 cups liquid milk
- Half a cup sugar
- A pinch of mastic
- 1 tablespoon rose water
- 1 container qeshta (clotted cream)
- Crushed pistachios for garnish
- Sugar syrup for serving
Method

- Put the semolina, milk, and sugar in a pot and stir them while cold, then place over medium heat, stirring continuously.
- When the mixture thickens, add the rose water and a pinch of mastic, which you should first crush with a spoonful of sugar, then stir well and remove the dessert from the heat.
- Pour the Layali Lubnan dessert into a Pyrex glass dish and let it cool to room temperature.
- Spread a generous layer of qeshta over the top, then garnish with pistachios.
- Place the Pyrex in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours until the dessert is well chilled, then serve with syrup.Timers: 240 min
