  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 medium tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • a pinch of salt

Method

  1. Whisk all the dry ingredients first, then add the milk and mix the batter well with a hand or electric whisk.
  2. Use a nonstick pan — spray it with cooking spray, then pour a little crepe batter, about the amount of one tablespoon.
  3. Hold the pan handle and spread the batter over the surface so the crepe is very thin.
  4. When the underside is colored, flip it to the other side to color as well — the crepe usually needs no more than about one minute on each side.
  5. Fill the crepes with chocolate and banana or with honey and fruit, as desired. You can also fill them with Nutella, qimeer (clotted cream), qareesh cheese, or jam.
  6. Garnish the crepes with walnuts, strawberries, cranberries, or any seasonal fruit available.
