- 3 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 medium tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- a pinch of salt
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Whisk all the dry ingredients first, then add the milk and mix the batter well with a hand or electric whisk.
- Use a nonstick pan — spray it with cooking spray, then pour a little crepe batter, about the amount of one tablespoon.
- Hold the pan handle and spread the batter over the surface so the crepe is very thin.
- When the underside is colored, flip it to the other side to color as well — the crepe usually needs no more than about one minute on each side.
- Fill the crepes with chocolate and banana or with honey and fruit, as desired. You can also fill them with Nutella, qimeer (clotted cream), qareesh cheese, or jam.
- Garnish the crepes with walnuts, strawberries, cranberries, or any seasonal fruit available.
