Tiramisu
A delicious homemade tiramisu recipe! One of the tastiest Italian desserts, and very easy to prepare at home. The most important thing is to let it chill very well in the fridge before serving.
Tiramisu, homemade and absolutely delicious
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Plain biscuits
- Liquid milk
- Half a carton of heavy cream
- One carton of plain clotted cream
- One carton of cream powder
- Cocoa powder
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Dip the biscuits quickly in the liquid milk.. the biscuits should not absorb too much milk so they do not fall apart
- Arrange a layer of biscuits dipped in milk in a pyrex dish
- Whisk the liquid cream, the clotted cream carton, and the cream powder carton until you get a smooth, creamy mixture
- Dip another amount of biscuits equal to the first layer.. dip them in the cream mixture and arrange the biscuits over the cream layer in the pyrex dish
- Spread the remaining cream over the biscuits and leave a little for decoration if desired.. then smooth the cream surface
- Sprinkle cocoa powder over the top and place it in the fridge for at least two hours until chilled and set before serving
