Recipe story

Yellow apple tart — a delicious sweet recipe

Ingredients

  • Butter 100 g
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or 3 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • A little lemon zest
  • A small pinch of salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tablespoons ice water to bring the dough together
  • Filling:
  • 5 sweet yellow apples
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Method

  1. Cream the room-temperature butter with the sugar, then add the egg, vanilla, and salt and mix.
  2. Add the flour and water and bring the dough together until it is cohesive.
  3. Roll out the dough into a tart tin or pan and press it in.
  4. Bake it in a preheated oven until lightly browned on the bottom and top.
  5. Then begin the filling: cut the apples into small pieces after peeling and removing the cores, of course.
  6. Put the sugar in a pot over the heat until it turns golden, then add the apples and cinnamon to caramelize.
  7. Spread the filling over the baked tart crust.
  8. Return the tart to the oven until the top of the tart turns light golden.
  9. You can serve the sweet yellow apple tart warm after it cools slightly or chilled.
